Baker Park Reserve

This park is actually a county park. While the management is somewhat different; the park itself was still very pleasant with many things for us to do.

The Saturday that we chose to go camping was after a rainfall. The site that we had chosen was a nice one but wet and muddy. The sites were spacious and not very private.  We were lucky that we did have tree cover since it rained the night we camped. The site did have breaker trees in back of us to provide some distance from other campers. They did have a fire pit in each site which was nice for the evening campfire. I have provided a picture of our campfire below.

The beach, picnic area were clean and neat. The hiking/biking trail were nicely paved and in a scenic parts of the country side.  The paths provided a nice evening ride. They have approximately 6.2 miles for biking trails there. Along with the the biking bring the swimsuit. The beach and picnic are were nice. There was plenty of room for the family to do both. The water looked clean and inviting. In the picnic area were nets for volley ball and if I am not mistaken there were baseball diamonds there to play a bit of ball with the family
