Here in this journal you will find several things. You will be able to follow AAALynx and myself through our adventures and exploration of our fine state of Minnesota. I have tried to put the dates on my journal for each area that we have visited. Also, you will find links of pictures we have taken.

I do hope you enjoy our adventures. Some of our adventures are inspiring, Others humorous and exciting. Join us as we travel to the different state parks of our state in search of waterfalls and other unique treasures and memories.
The state park system in Minnesota is impressive. The people are friendly and full of helpful information and a wealth of knowledge. The sites are well kept, spacious and clean.So far on our journeys we have come across large amounts of wildlife, wildflowers, fungi, cool rocks, and of course waterfalls. We will provide interesting photos and links to the park system.
I have provided the links to each journal page so that you might see and read what we did and found.
Remember you can do all of this at a small price. Just one sticker on your vehicle can gain you entrance to all of the Minnesota State Parks. Camping is extra but such a small price to pay.
To purchase your permit, stop by any state park or call the DNR Information Center (1-888-MINNDNR) to order your permit. The permit is good for one year from the month it is punched and entitles you to unlimited visits to all 72 Minnesota State Parks and Recreation Areas.Do you want a permit for both of your vehicles? If you are the registered owner of two vehicles, you can receive a discount on the second vehicle permit. (See prices below.) The second permit must be affixed to a vehicle registered to the same person who purchased the regular vehicle permit.

Group camp
(Call the state park reservation system to reserve group
camp sites. A $45 non-refundable deposit is charged for all
class III group camps. This fee is applied toward the first
night's camping.)$45-$75/night or $3 per camper per night,
whichever is greater
Horse camp (where available)
(Lower rate applies if camp is located in rustic
campground. Higher fee applies if showers are provided in
campground.)$11 or $15/night

Special state park camping rates
For all visitors, the semi-modern campsite rate is reduced
to a rustic rate during the off season when showers and
flush toilet facilities are not available. Half-priced
camping is available Sunday-Thursday for Minnesota residents
with disabilities. This reduced rate applies to semi-modern
and rustic rates only.
